Seems like our little Siberian friend here is a little chameleon. Sherrie believes he has softened in coat colour. So now little Caelum is officially a little silver mackerel tabby. His colour resembles his mom now – the beautiful Angel which I adore so much. Seems like fate has somewhat came into play, or I’d like to believe so.
So now my little baby boys are officially a chocolate tabby point Birman and a silver mackerel tabby Siberian. Who would have guessed that I'd end up with these two darlings. I honestly thought I'll own a nice little bi-colour Ragdoll instead this year. But I've never for once regretted making the decision to own these two.
Hopefully everything will be perfect for their arrival. I'm so excited and nervous as I have never met Royce beforehand. As for Caelum, I don't think he'll remember me since the last time I saw him was when he was only 6 weeks old. How time really flies.

{ New toy & Caelum | week 9 }
Received my new toy that travelled all the way from Japan to Hong Kong, then making its final journey to Adelaide, South Australia. Introducing my newest addition to my little collection of lenses, the gorgeous Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro lens.

I'm so going to have fun seeing things from a different angle.
I've also received some updated photos of little Caelum, and from the pictures, it seems like his coat colour is changing. My little baby used to be black-brown, but from the recent pictures that I was shown, it seemed like he's turning into a little silvery tabby - just like his Ma, but with a little shades of brown like his Pa. Three weeks to go for this little one.

Now I'm curious to know what colour would little Caelum end up with, it's interesting that he's turning out to be a different shade from what I've expected. Not to mention, three weeks is a long time, you will never know what might happen in between. :)

I couldn't resist trying out the new lens.

{ Royce | Week 10 }
I just love updates from Marina! She's so helpful and friendly, it's hard not to adore her. :)
I've finally decided on a scratching post for my two little boys. Next thing that's on the list would be litter, I'm debating to purchase the Oz-Pet system that has received lots of praises from various owners and breeders alike, or to get Omega Paw's Roll' N Clean litterbox, which seems to be a lot more convenient. At the rate things are going, I might just go with the Oz-Pets system as I wouldn't want to take a risk on the Roll' N Clean one and find out that it's not as good. Choices choices...

{ Rubix }
There are things in life that I'm not great at. Take the Rubik’s cube for example. This little cube always had me defeated even before I began.
Well, I decided to cheat a little. I followed a tutorial on YouTube and for once, actually completed the cube. Even though I know it wasn't completed using my own knowledge and skill, but I actually feel pretty good whenever I see the completed Rubik's cube on the table. :)

sometimes, it's good to just cheat a little.
Simple achievements do keep me satisfied in life. At least I can cross that one achievement off my list now. On to find something new to keep me occupied.

{ First lesson | Patience }
Counting down the weeks can be a drag, especially if you’re not a very patient person. If all goes well, Royce will be flying to me on the weekend of 9th April. That’s like 2 weeks away. Two very long weeks. Caelum on the other hand, would be coming home with me on the weekend of 16th April, since little Caelum is slightly younger than Royce.
I’ve been purchasing toys for the kitties to pass the time. Teasers, plushies, balls… you name it. Only thing lacking is a nice scratching post for the little ones. I’ve gotten some advice from Marina on what type I should be looking out for, but still have no idea what to get for them. So my mission now is to hunt for a nice and fun scratching post. I would also need to clear out a little space to put the scratching post, but I can worry about that later. :)
How I wish the weeks would fly by sooner. Can’t believe I’ve actually waited 3 months for the little ones and have the honour of watching them grow. This is definitely a first for me; my special little boys have already taught me their very first lesson, good things are worth the wait.
